Sleep allows our muscles to recover and rebuild; so without an adequate amount of sleep after a boot camp workout, your muscles never get a chance to rebuild. In this scenario you are actually losing muscle, remember the amount of muscle you have determines the speed of your metabolism and how much fat your body is burning!! The video is geared towards athletes for maximal muscle gain, we don’t recommend eating before bed unless you intend on bulking up.
